We will have a Daisy meeting tonight at 6pm at the girl scout house! If you are not able to attend, please send me a quick email so that we can save a petal project for your Daisy. Thanks!!
As a reminder ALL pre-sale cookie orders should have been emailed or phoned in to Jenn Sunday by 4pm. She will be picking up cookies sometime within the next 2 weeks and we will have more information on how you will pick up your cookies from her. If you have any questions regarding cookie orders, please contact Jenn.
Please assure your family and friends that the cookies we are selling containing peanut butter are not affected by any of the recalls. We received a press release from Little Brownie Bakers who supply Girl Scouts with their cookies and they have documented that the cookie products we use are nof sourced from the supplier involved in the current peanut butter recall!
See you all tonight!

Sea World bummer...
Our troop did not get selected to attend the Sea World Rally this year. There is a draw for this since space is limited and our troop number did not get drawn. Since some of our girls were really looking forward to this event, I am going to come up with an alternative activity for the girls to do that day/evening (or Sunday). I was thinking about taking the girls to see Hotel for Dogs, and then having a hot dog cookout. If you have any ideas, please let me know.
Cookie Pre-Orders...
Are due to Jenn by this Sunday afternoon. Please be on the lookout for an email with all the details on how to get your pre-order cookie counts in to Jenn on time! Thanks, and hope all the girls are having fun selling cookies!!

January Patch - light blue
Honest and Fair. If you missed yesterday's meeting, we are working on the light blue petal (honest and fair). We played a game where the girls told us if certain statements were honest and/or fair. This is something that you can easily do at home if you missed last night's meeting in order to catch up your Daisy for our next meeting. Simply ask them certain statements and whether it would be an honest or fair thing for them to do. For example: You were playing with your sister and you broke a lamp. When your mom asked who did it, you blame your sister even though you are the one that broke it. Is that honest? Then let your child answer. Also, give them a chore such as passing out the napkins/utensils/rolls, etc at dinner and make sure that everyone gets their fair share of utensils, napkin, etc. We will be working on a craft next meeting to symbolize the meaning of the light blue petal. At the end of the meeting the girls will receive their blue petal to add to their aprons/vests. If you are unable to make our next meeting (Jan. 20), please let me know so that I can set aside your project to have your Daisy complete at home. Thanks!
