A wonderful way to end the year

Sequin Outdoor Learning Center Adventure

A few of the girls got together on Saturday and went to the Sequin Outdoor Learning Center for a New Braunfels Girl Scout adventure. To start the morning off, the girls went on a walk around the beautiful facility. Then they conquered their fears and balanced themselves on the low ropes. Then it was our turn to make sand paintings in the science room. After lunch, the girls made predictions about how far different types of balls would launch with different types of rubber bands, and then they launched the balls to see how well they guessed. Then they played a silly game of Australian basketball before heading down to the pond to canoe....the highlight of the day for most of them. It was a great day to be outside, learning about new things and spending time with good friends.

Pizza & Thin Mint Dessert

We had a special guest join us this week to show us how to make our own pizza and a yummy dessert out of Thin Mint cookies....yum!

The girls enjoyed yummy holiday treats and then got down to business with a fun ornament exchange. Merry Christmas everyone!

6th Meeting - Preparing Christmas Craft Fair Bags

At the beginning of the meeting, Ms. Lisa handed out patches
and Randi got one for referring Rylie to GS and Rylie got one for being a friend.
The girls were very excited about their new patches!

The rest of the meeting was spent putting together spa bags
that will be sold at the upcoming GS Christmas Craft Fair.
Priscilla and Logan are all ready to start preparing bath salts.
